Just leave them off and save yourself the aggravation. My "5.0" emblems were missing when I bought my car, and I have never replaced them for that very reason...and I never really liked them anyway...car looks cleaner without them.

Although scoops are a different story...probably looks terrible without them.

After I got my car repainted... I didn't put the "5.0" emblems on. I wanted to.. but after I looked at it for a long time. I thought it looked good with out them. BUT... I do think your car looks better with your scoops on. I would think about bolting them down some how if I was you. I'm not a body guy so I can't help ya out. Changing out HOT chrome parts at cars shows is a different story

Default Solution?

How about glueing a mousetrap on the inside of each scoop? That way any moron who tries to pull them off will get taught a lesson. They may get the scoop, but you will know who did it. (they'll be the person yelling with a mousetrap on their finger)
