i am buying a 98cobra from Virginia and i live in California
and i was wondering if there is going to be any smoging trouble, or any emissoins laws. thank you for any help |

Prepare to get bent over by the smog impact fees for bringing a car in from out of state while maintaining residence here.
Also, I would confirm that every piece on that car is either stock, or has a carb # on it, since they are going to be big peckers. Get it inspected as far from a big city as possible, the backwoods DMV offices seem to be a little nicer from what I've heard.

The impact fees that Deuce speaks of were found to be in the wrong, and were changed a year ago. They used to be $300 per car, and now are either much less, or non existant.
What's been done to the engine?
