Thumbs up Site's new look

What do you think of the site's new look?
Man, I love the new look and the new features. Good Job guys!!
I know this should be posted in the site talk forum, but there is more traffic here.

Yes, I've spent all day upgrading the forums from vB2 to vB3. What a pain. I'm still playing with everything and trying to get it looking the way I want. Also, getting the rest of the site (media center and stangmail) integrated with it properly. The icons need some clean up though with our background and colors. They don't look that clean, which bugs the heck out of me.

Anyways, it'll be a work in progress for a few days.

Yeah, it's upgrading the forums database broke it. I have to tweak the chat room programming code to work with the new vB3 database.

Ok, everything is "working" again I think... Chat room, users rides, media center.... etc. If anyone finds stuff that is still "broken", let me know.

I think its kinda hard to read, this version looks better if it is the full screen width. Is there any way individual members can minimize the sitemap so we can view the forums in the full screen width?

Andy

Overall it looks good, except I am not too crazy about having the user's name and avatar above the posts. I like it off to the side like in the old format.

Andy, I've been playing with the font sizing. It was bigger than the previous version and that's why it didn't fit as well. It looks much better now. However, eventually I will be redesigning the entire site design. When I do it will be going to full width. The navigation will be a bar at the top eliminating the side navbar. Also, the side tower and box ads will be replaced by inline box ads within the content.

Heth, the overhead avatars will soon be changed to be formatted the way vB2 did them on the side of each post. I don't like the overhead layout either.

I'm working on everything... again, it'll take a few days to make all the tweaks and changes I want.

Dan - Thanks again for this awesome site! I know I am not as active here as I once was, but I still stop in a few times a week. Just wanted to let you know it looks good and I appreciate it, as I am sure many others do.

Dan,
I don't mind the change. I just want to thank you for this site with the great resources. I don't talk a lot on the message board, but I like to use it a lot for the information. I also want to thank you for not charging a fee to be a member. I used to use a Dakota site some, but then they decided to charge $30.00 to be a member, so that was the end of that.
Thanks again,
Brad

Wow, if the font gets much smaller, I'm gonna have to get a seeing-eye dog. I have my bifocals set on maximum, and still have teeney-tiny font.

Like the new look but can not tollerate the font size It has to get larger. I am not as young as I used to be and the new smaller font is not working for me.
