No, it hasn't broke into the 6's yet..if it don't when i get the motor back and with the new chassis i'm selling it.lol Best run to date is a 7.02 199.96mph. The car is a pro-mod style chassis, funny car cage, weights a little over 2300lbs with me in it..motor is a 420ci windsor, yates C3 heads, Jesel rockers, comp cam (my secret ), 16:1 compression, three stages of nitrous (was two) sheetmetal tunnel ram with twin 1250 Pro-Systems Dominators, Kooks custom headers, 5 inch exhaust, Strange axles and spool, 5.36 pro gears, competition engineering wheelie bars (spring loaded), two simpson parachutes, liberty cluthless 5 speed, all msd components..couple other miscellaneous things. Hope this helps.

I'm sure u will break into the 6's. With the 1/8 time u posted a while back, I'm sure u will. By the way, what was the 1/8 time u had, I forgot.

Thanks for the compliment. My previous best 1/8th mile was a 4.42 174mph on a 10.5 tire. With the third stage 1/8th mile should be around the 4.20 range.

DO u have any pics of it yet. I don't thnk I've seen any.
Wait, u ran a 4.42 @175mph? U havn't rana quater mile yet? That would be a 6.9 et. If u ran a 4.20, @ lets say 185, that would be a 6.55 @233mph. Thats cooking. I still think it's weird that those tires made that much of a diff.

I should have my pictures back from Keith prolly monday at the latest. I called him the other day and he said the car's coming along very good. So i'm excited. I'm getting the chassis re-certified, and having the nose part of my front end reshaped so it will cut the air better. I'm hoping the motor's gonna run strong with the new edelbrock nitrous system. I don't know if it'll ever go 6.55 at NMRA legal weight but who knows I'm selling the car after racing season is over and getting a new 02 GT body in white to turn into a pro car. Gonna use the same motor and tranny i got now.

Never know about making a 6.55. Question is, do u have the gear for 230+ mph?
How come u want a newer body? DOn't u have a LX body now? Or am i mistaken?

I don't have the gear right now to go 230mph. It turning 9800rpm through the traps now. So i'd have to go to something like a 4.30 gear or something relatively close to that. I want a newer body style so i can take advantage of the weight breaks and aero "wars". the body style i have now is a GT.

The 95-98 body style is no more aerodynamic than my car is now. Before i had the chassis work done the 95-98 style was more aerodynamic. But the 99-02 style's offer much more aerodynamics and i can get them lighter than i can my GT. I'm gonna build the new car like a pro-mod. Pro-mod chassis, pro-mod cage, etc. It'll just be the same car on the outside with a pro-mod type chassis and such.

Eric: Are you going to have pix of your car before Bowling Green? If not, at least tell me what color it is. I'm making the trip down and want to be sure not to miss it!
