Default It's been a while.....

Here are some pics from last Sun. That run was a 12.97@108.64 on a 2.05 60. My combo is SLP Longtubes, stealth airbox, ported throttle body, BMR subframe connectors, front swaybar removed and 245 Nittos at 24psi. Still running the stock converter, when my new one gets in I'm shooting for 11.90's. Just thought I'd let you know a bit about your competition.

Have you ran the truck yet?

A stall converter really brought my friends LS-1 alive. You wont be dissapointed.

Nice car,

The truck still needs some parts, its almost ready to go to the track. I'm still trying to find some tubular A-arms for it....I've heard its the same front suspension as a G-body, but can't get it confirmed. Yeah I decided to keep the SS. Can't wait for the new stall, only bad thing is its $895....

Josh thats pretty stupid to say, especially to me. Maybe its because you have a 4 cylinder and you don't realize that people actually drag race at the track, and they can smoke BOTH tires, without putting gallons of water down first. LMFAO. Anyway, those aren't photoshop by any means, anyone with 1/4 of a brain could realize it. Hopefully your just joking, but in the case that your not, I really, deep down feel sorry for you. Have the runs on video too. Have a good one.

Now I'm not saying they're fake. Maybe it's the camera, maybe it's the light, my it's me being a hard headed bastard. But something about them seems a bit out of place to me.

The purpose of this thread was to show some old friends how my car was doing, not to be false-ly accused of photoshop'ing my pics. Not to have some uneducated hick, trying to be a punk. My suggestion to you is take some photography classes, or any type of classes for that matter, and better educate yourself about shadows, realize not everyone is trying to pull a fast one on ya, and move on. It doesn't bother me that you think they are photoshopped, but cluttering up my thread with ths nonsense is ridiculous. Do you have not anything better to do with you life?

wow I thought Josh was kidding...

Dont seem photoshopped to me but I dont see why they would be. Those shadows could be signs maybe?

I think Josh just needs a slap on the back of the head

Ah, the joys of communication between MW and RHC members...

I know I don't post here anymore, and I don't want to "pick sides", but I think it is a little annoying someone would make such an accusation without having extensive background with Photoshop to be 100% sure. Of course everyone is entitled to criticize whoever/whatever they want, but its really only useful if that individual is an "expert" in that area.

Anyways, I saved the pics and emailed them to my mother who is a desktop publisher by trade (read: spends 10 hours daily using Adobe PS/illustrator, Quark etc) and at least could say from years of experience why or why not the pic is a "false product" or not.

I don't have anything against either of you, and I don't think they are faked, especially since (no offense J ) the launch isn't really anything incredible, but it will be interesting to hear exactly WHY, not just "no, they aren't", or "they look fishy".

In my opinion (since this thread is ripe with opinions ) if you're going to make a comment that potentially attacks one's honesty, I think its good practice to be highly knowledgable about that subject. Its kinda like me critiquing the construction of Josh's sub box just because I know how to use a hammer and nails...wouldn't that be irritating?
