Post Can a girl get some help please?

Hi all. I'm looking for something to protect my leather seats, but I'm not crazy about the way covers look. I mainly am worried about the leather getting hot/cold and burning/freezing my legs. So, I want something to cover just the seat part that matched the color of my seats. Was hoping for something made of Body Glove material or something?

Any idears?

I assume that by body glove you mean neoprene? That would be interesting. You might try suede like the new gt's.

Don't know of anything either, The cold isn't so bad, for the heat I keep a towel in my car and cover the bottom of the seat when I'm wearing shorts. Simple, but effective.

dinomite? Is that the material? It's like spandex sorta... What do you mean when you say suede on the new GTs? This is actually for a '01 GT I'm getting in 15 days (and counting....)

I was trying to stay away from upholstrey shops because of the $$$ issue; I think towels would get on my nerves cuz they wouldn't stay put.

I did consider buying whole seat covers and cutting the back off. My fiancee worked on a car that had Body Glove covers - I think they even had Body Glove stitched into the headrests (who know why!). But I searched on the net for anything like that w/ no luck. Guess I'll keep searching.

Thanks everyone!

You should be able to find some nice Ford Seat covers from one of the catalogues or magazines. If it's something your wanting to keep on, I'd do it right. I'm constantly fighting the towels under my legs!! They would like nice too, and have your "Ford" theme going. Thought about it myself for the summer when it's 100 plus down here. Plus, my leather is shot now, and I need to get the side panels replaced!

Lightbulb

Maybe those New York cabbies had something going with the bead seat covers??? Gives the vehicle that, "I care that my *** doesn't fall asleep" image.
