I must say, this had to have been one of the most poorly officiated games I have seen in a Superbowl.

And where was Oakland the first half? They didn't even bother showing up until sometime in the 3rd quarter.

I actually think this game could of been a lot closer if it wasn't for 2 horrific calls that handed the game to TB:

1) the pass interference on the uncatchable pass that permitted the drive to continue

2) the so-called "landing out of bounds" on the 2 point conversion when the guy was pushed out while in the air.

I'm not saying Oakland would of won, but between the extra time on the clock and the reduced deficit in score, a lot less pressure would of been on Oakland on the late drive, and perhaps they wouldn't of been as likely to throw the interceptions that killed them.

I'll admit, Tampa Bay came to play, and Oakland didn't in the first half. TB also got aggresive when they thought their lead was in Jeopardy. I just wished it was called better. I love close games.

Note: I am a Giants/Jets/Carolina/Eagles/Tuna fan. So, even though I picked the winter team over the warm weather whimps, I really didn't care who won. I just wanted a good game.

Cool

I agree with you.

As a RAIDER fan I feel shorted by both the league and the team.

Coaching was factor and big game intensity. Both needed to be better and match the levels across the field. They didn't and results were a poorly played game by my favorite team and an almost busted 30" TV.

Oh well on to the college basketball season.

Sadly for me, as an Eagles fan, the Bucs embarrassed the last three teams they played. They just turned it on. Though, I don't think it was very fair that Gruden knew all the plays the Raiders were going to run. It gave him an extra advantage. If you remember the Mic'd up Lynch saying "Hey, they're running all the plays we practiced against!" Pretty bad . Made for a boring superbowl. Plus, I think Rice forgot his four legged walker on the sideline a couple of times
