I remember a couple of years ago on this site , Dan posted a new main screen that said they had to close the site down because Ford complained about too many hopped up cars and too much street racing etc etc. It was quite well done, even the moderators didn't know it was fake. A lot of people got really worked-up until they figured it out. It was pretty cool.

That post Dan did here was and will always be a classic to me.I did not make it through the whole story. I started writing an email to FORD. It was only when I checked back to get a quote that I finished reading the joke, I was pissed I had called a couple friends they had called friends. That was great.

If this was a joke, it was pretty sick. Only an idiot is going to click on something that may be a virus, so if that was the way to see an 'April fool' message, the corral must be populated by idiots...

Since ricers do exist and a few may be evil, the 4/1 date would have been a good day to strike. I've deleted Win history and temp internet files and still cannot get into the corral from a Yahoo search page. I have no future business there, I just want to tell them what a stupid bunch of idiots they are and leave. I plan on sending notes to their sponsors telling them that I will do no business with them, also.

Perhaps most of you have never been working along when a hacker attacks your site... I have - and the thought that your hard drive may have just been riced is about the worst kind of feeling there is. It is sick.

So... anyone know how to get to the 'new' corral without formatting my drive to clean out whatever happened? If not, please post this over there and send it to all their sponsors for me...

I personally thought it was funny. I like the corral (as I like the mustangworks) and I hope that both sites continue to flourish. We are spoiled that we have access to this kind of info. for free. It is a priveledge....
