where to find info on 65-72 Chevy's?
Pardon the bad word I had to use in the subject line . Anyway, my stepdad is finally planning on getting a project for himself.
He wants to find a 66-67 Chevy truck to work on. Hopefully this will be our summer project. He has talked about putting a blower on the motor, although plans are not certain at this time. We will probably be working with a 305 block, unless I can talk him into a 350. He wants the truck to be very street mannered, but I think still wants some of the hot rod elements for the kid in him. Anyway, my knowledge of Chevy's is limited, but I would like to help him out as much as possible on finding parts and the right way to go about this build up. Do you know of any websites or publications that would be worthwhile to take a look at? Also, if anyone knows of good shops and suppliers in the KC area, could you let me know? Thanks! |
