Default Gday, Im a new Aussie girl to this site

Hi, I just found this site and it looks like fun! I own a 1969 428cj Mach 1, which is a pretty rare car here. She is black with a black interior. I bought it here in South Australia, fully converted, the conversion is chain driven.

Ahem, Canada.

Mazz-

Welcome!! This really is a terrific site, and I know you're going to enjoy it! Where about in S.A. are you from? I lived in W.A. (Swan Brewery, yipee ) for a while a few years back. Great place! Even better people!!

Tell us more about your car, and how you managed to grab it. I remeber that so-so American cars were going for BIG BUCKS when I was there. Especially 1960's muscle cars!

Take care,
-Chris

Yep...can't forget our good neighbors up in Canada....

And I know I've seen a few members from other countries here...can't remember just where...and there's our Military people who live overseas.

Mazz,

Welcome to the boards. This is absolutely the best Mustang specific site on the internet. I've been a member for close on to four years, and you will be hard pressed to find a more knowledgable and friendly bunch of guys and gals anywhere. Hope you enjoy the site. That car of yours sounds like a real peach. You'll have to post some pictures.

Let me say Welcome to MustangWorks as well! I've been here as a moderator for about 2 years, but have frequented the site for about 3 and a half. This is probably the biggest community you're going to find on the web. Not just in size but quality, both in members and content, IMHO. Sounds like a nice ride ya got there, Mazz. Yeah, as I recall, American muscle cars are VERY collectible down under. How much is a car like that worth down there???

Thumbs up

Our guy joakim is from Sweden, he's been around quite a while too. We've got other guys stationed all over too.

Nice to see more and more people posting from around the world, Mazz. The 69 Mach 1 428cj isn't exactly a common sight here, either. Very nice combo, one of my favorites.

Wink A 428CJ is a Sheila?

Welcome, from one newbie to another.

I owned a cJ, and never did I consider it a she.

What is the cost of petrol down there? And you are heading into fall, correct?

A '69 Mach 1 428 is pretty rare here in the states, too, Mazz. Yours sounds sweet.

We look forward to hearing more from you as Mustang Works Online continues to go International.

No way I'd drive a CJ in Australia. Those freaky goobers with the mohawks will definately mess a car like that up. Next thing you know, you have a chain around your neck, and you're attatched to some post-apocalyptic warlord. No thank you.
