New Avatar
So I got a New Avatar. This is not the best picture, but I did find it from searching around on the interenet. Below is the full size pic, and yes that is a SOHC 427 in there. Never heard it with the dumps open, its loud enough with a muffler. Halibrand quick change out back, although you cannot see it. I'll get pics myself by September, and I'll post some of those too. These don't do the car justice, IMHO.

Well, it only took me about a million tries to get the picture to show up above. Here is another one from the same show.

Here is the last one, I promise. I'm not sure why it doesn't work...
For the young amoung us, these are pictures of a 1932 (Deuce) Highboy 3 window. It's been chopped (roof lowered), and you can see the frame rails under the body. That's the 'high' boy distinction. This was the model hot rod that inspired "Little Deuce Coupe", which only took me about 15 years to figure that one out. This picture was taken from above at Deuce Days 2002 at the Peterson Automotive Musem in LA. The other two were from Deuce Days 2001, my thanks to Mike Levy from whom I swiped all the pictures. Swing by streetrodding.com to see over 1,000 other hot rod pics. Sorry for the plug, but its where these all were.

I'm going nucking futz today. Found out I can pick up the car tomorrow, and now time is about standing still. To make matters worse, I can't get any work done, and will have to work at home tomorrow.
