If You Could Build A Mustang.....
If you were to build a mustang any way you wanted, what would you build? what would it be for, and what would you put in it(motor, suspension, wheels, stereo.....)

well, a mustang wouldn't be my top choice.......
but lets say that someone here decided to finance my efforts: -i'd pick a 69 or 70 boss 302 (i think those are the ones that Trans Am cars were based off of) -i'd ditch all the graphics and go with a white paint with overlays of a blue pearl -engine built to rev high -sitting low on shiny 18's with extensive custom suspension -simple, practical interior -nice stereo setup setup up for quality, not quantity (maybe a single 12" sub)

I would build a Gt500 clone (the one in gone in 60sec) with a 800ci aluminum motor, with fast efi, and the strongest manual trans that i can find with syncros. It would have full interior, a nice stero, and nice seats. It would be lowered with a set of 18's, and huge brakes.

1967 Mustang Stallion That is exactly what I would take... orignal as possible. They made 16 of them I believe 8 with the 289 completly done up and 8 with the 390 and I think the 390 was bored to a Mercury 410 ci engine. They were done by a dealership in Toronto. My uncle was going to buy one way way back when. My dad was telling me how he remembered going to look at the car with his brother. It has 8 Chrome Stacks when you poped the hood. There are acouple sites that people sent me about this car, I'll have to go look for them again. None the less, I think it's the sexiest Mustang ever made. §am.

Geez Mine would prolly be a 351 stoked and bored to a 393 then throw some GT40 heads on, good headers on a 1964 1/2 coupe body with a wicked double black paint. Throw on two holley four barrels and a 150 shot of nitrous and a Paxton supercharger. Then I'd get some good drag pack suspension and make it a good quarter contender

1967 Shelby, white with blue stripes, twin turbo charged 351 bored to 408 cubic inches, blue thunder heads, (or yates), make about 1400 or 1500 hp. Put a six speed on it. Lowered, 18inch American racing torque thrust d wheels. Now THATS a car.

My dream car would go as follows:
355 stroker (302 block) EFI all the hi-flow stuff: Edelbrock victor extrude honed, all the other intake stuff, AFR 200 heads matched to the intake and exhaust, High Flow turbo cam Twin Turbo system Factory type drag suspension and full chassis stiffening including welding subframes/cage together into the car....but making it look 100% stock from a glance. There would be alot of other stuff like fuel system, cooling system, etc. etc. etc. that i would have to install but this is the general engine stuff. I would have a 6 speed tranny (probably wouldn't live with the engine, but oh well) and a 9" Rear with mini tubs... ....exterior completely stock save for steel wheels enlarged to 15" and 15x10" in back with stock dog dish hubcaps. .....all in a '79-'83 Ford Fairmont 4 door or wagon

This ones easy.
Grabber Yellow 1969 Boss 302, magnum 500's, close ratio trans. Period. Now if I was going to go crazy and build something... '65 notch 351c 4v (closed chamber heads) Maybe a little stroke and poke t-10 (maybe t-56) 9" locker 4:11's 16" Torque thrust D's Hurst shifter Thrush exhaust custom girnd clay smith cam disc brake upgrade koni reds all around. The 65 I'll build but probably need to use a Windsor block, as its way easier to get under the stock hood.
