Thumbs up Headbangers Ball

I was just watching headbangers ball uncensored on MTV and they said they may bring it back. Who would love to see it back?

I want it back so bad. Unfortuanately i dont remember if i ever saw it as a kid. It aired from like 1990-1995. I wasnt a metalhead until recently so i hope it comes back. That show looked like it ruled!!!

Later,
Nick

My vote is for Hell Yes!

The Headbangers ruled! Not just the music either! The intros and outtros that showed mass destruction clips from old sci-fi movies was awesome!

You guys are crazy...they don't show music videos on MTV anymore .
That would probably be the only thing that i'd watch on mtv. I saw the Osbournes a few times and it's funny, but i'm pretty sure that most of it is staged although it is funny.
Will they put headbangers ball on MTV1, MTV2, or MTV3?
Actually i have no idea how many MTV channels there are, in fact i haven't watched MTV other than the osbournes for quite a few years now since they cancelled beavis and butthead.
But yes, i do think they should bring back the headbangers ball, i love heavy metal/rock.

Hell yeah bring it back! There's way too much rap on mtv now, and its time for a change! But then again like 84LX89GT said, they don't play muisc videos anymore, unless you watch at 2am.

Headbangers ball was on MTV during those vulnerable teenage years every parent fears, for me atleast. Mom hated, more reason I liked it and more the reason to bring it back.. And it did kick ***, nothing like big hair rock..

WTH?? Why cant I remember Junkyard? I thought I was pretty well versed in the late 80's Heavy Metal scene too.

I have a question though. If they bring it back, are they going to play the original videos, or new metal? I'd like to see both, I guess. A new, and "retro" Headbangers ball would be cool!

Back to Junkyard:

Where were they from? The only 80's junkyard I can remember is the wrestler Junkyard Dog hehehe....

Crazy Horse Yeah, BulletBoys kicked as! I saw them live at an outdoor show "Back in the day" (musta been '89 or '90) It was an awesome bill! Ratt, Poison, Bulletboys, and Warrant if I remember right.

Is anyone fortunate enough to receive the syndicated rock and wrestling radio show on Sunday nights called Pile Driver? Our local active rock station features it! I'm not a big wrestling fan, but they play cool music, and the people are cool to listen to as well.

Junkyard was more early 90's, not 80's. I'll see if I can dig out the CD. Im sure it has the date on it. I also think they were from Cali.

Ok, I found it. It was 1989, on Geffen Records.

The only song I remember getting radio play was "Simple Man".

The whole album is good, all 10 songs. "Blooze" is a great drinking/party song.
