My rear end!

I'm going to order a new rear end next weekend from Currie. It's going to be pretty damn expensive but it's money well spent. I'm getting the Performance Axle Package (31 spline), and the Heavy Duty Housings, which comes in a package for $650. Then I'm getting a new Traction-Loc 3rd member with 3.70s. That's $860. Then smaller stuff like the leaf spring pads and stuff like that. They are going to set it up so that I can just put my original brakes right back on and they are going to put it all together and seal it up for $30. I know these prices are very high. Higher than I expected. But I guess I didn't really know what to expect. I can't wait to get it in and take it to the track!

Anyone going to Bandimere for Mile High Nationals the weekend of July 21? I'll be there, but I'm not taking the Stang. Just going up with my dad to watch. Peace.

As we've discussed before, Currie is expensive, but we get what we pay for. Sounds like a good set up to me.

Thanks Rev. Yeah I knew I was going to be forkin it out, but it should be worth it. I think next summer I'm going to do the same thing, only for those RPM heads. I'm going to have to save enough for new pistons too. Since they say you can't use stock pistons with the 2.02/1.90 valves. I'll just get some Plain Jane ones though, I don't need anything fancy. I'd like to buy a torque converter now and do that the same time as my rear end. Maybe I will do that later on this summer. We'll see how much money I can make.
