They are a Bunch Of Camaro and Fireturd drivers in there. They seem to THINK there 1992 Firebirds and all those hunks of Crap could be a 5Litre Mustang.

I think more of a precense of Mustang guys there would change there minds.

it is a 1970 fastback....technically, it isn't mine, but it is in my garage! it's my buddy's car that we are restoring. Originally a 302, but we are building a 428 for it.

At first I thought it was a '69...then I noticed the 2 strips of metal in the taillight bezel openings were missing...Car looks pretty similar to my '69 fastback right now!

is your 69 covered in rust, and require about 100 hours of sanding, wire-wheeling, grinding, cutting, and priming? just to have something to build onto? This car is in real bad shape, but it was his first mustang, and he can't part with it. So, we stripped the car down to the shell, and we're starting fresh. Car is going to be mint/fresh/awesome. pick one.

by the way, i may have asked you this already. Know where i can get an interior cowl panel? you kow what part i mean? it is the part that keeps the water out of the interior. the inner inner cowl panel.

Nope....not a whole lotta rust on mine, comparitive to other none restored 33 year old Mustangs......bottom 2 corners of each door (very common on old stangs, replaced), lower quarter panels (already replaced), section of trunk floor (replaced already, too), engine compartment panel behind the battery tray, front radiator support panel, and front engine compartment panel on driver's side (all 3 replaced), front section of passenger's floor panel (soon to be replaced)....that sounds like a lot...But really, for this year and model, not too bad....

No, I'm not sure where you can the part you're looking for. Tried Mustangs Unlimited or California Mustang? National Parts Depot is another good one.
