Default The baby is here!

We had the baby on July 8th 3:48a.m.
He weighed 6lbs even and was 18.5" long.
He was 5 weeks early but is doing really good and we got to bring him home today.
I will have to get some pictures so I can show off the newest addition to the family other than the mustang.

I wish that everyone could know how good it feels to see your son for the first time; it is a great feeling.

Congrats on the baby,
is it as good as seeing your car for the first time? I remember when I got my baby. I went to go see her, she was parked on a farmers side lawn, she was all dirty and had grass on her, but I knew my love lied with her and that I had to bring her home and take care of her.

Congrats to you and your wife and I wish you all the best of luck in the future. You better start saving for a car for him. Have you picked a name yet? You better start teaching him all about domestics before those damn ricers get to him. Kids like those flashy colours and such.

§am.

Hey PKRWUD we were trying for the 25th, or at least I was hopping but her water broke early. Hey at least it is in July!

His name is Matthew James Cox.

He will be raised around domestics and will not turn to the dark side.

I remember when I picked up my mustang for the first time and also after I got her (yes HER) from the paint and body shop and saw the flames and just had the 347 in it and it still pales in comparison to having a kid. I guess you will just have to imagine it until you experience it for your self

Thanks all. See ya!

Mom's doing fine but is not sleeping so she is really tired. She is constantly worrying about the baby. I have tried to tell her she needs to stop worrying that he will be all right but I think it is a mother thing.
Any of you ladies out there have that problem before?
How long before you relaxed a bit?

She tries to sleep but finds herself getting up every 10 to 15 minutes to check on the baby.

Congratulations!!!

When my goddaughter was born, her mother did not sleep for about two weeks. She still gets up and checks her every couple of hours, even though Kelsa (my goddaughter) sleeps with her. The attached picture is Kelsa four weeks old!! I am a very proud godmother

She is now three and a half months old, and happy and healthy as can be!! Get used to the no sleep thing, you two won't be getting any for about 18 years!! LOL Seriously, it will get better. It's a mother thing, when you are pregnant you know how your baby is doing. After birth, you don't have the constant connection and it takes a while to adjust.

Shelby

Oh, one more thing: You're gonna have to call your parts man and tell him you won't be around much for the next 18 years. But you know it's going to be worth it!

Take care,
-Chris

Yeah, I read somewhere that helps, but it's not mandatory.
