Yep sell it. Cause the next one isn't most likely going to want a used ring.

Sell it, for all the good reasons already stated in previous posts.
As for selling it, well, you can place a private ad but have the ring appraised first and use that to determine the price. The bad news is that jewelry has a huge, huge mark-up and whatever you paid you won't get back, or anything close to it. Pawn shops give you about 10% of the value so that isn't a great way to go, unless you have to for quick cash. A diamond broker may be your best bet, if you can locate one. Again, don't expect to recoup much of the purchase price, but some cash is better than a ring that no one, including you, seems to want. Good luck with the sale. |

You will probaly feel better for selling. I wouldn't even talk to her anymore either. I know last time I had a big break up I didn't feel better until I stoped talking to her and I threw everything I had of her away. It was like a revalation when I did that. Besides you probaly will be able to get something nice for the car.

THIS IS WHAT YOU DO:
post it on EBAY. Say youre a private SMALL Shop that is having a sale. List it for close to what you paid for it. When it comes time to get a cashiers check tell them to put your personal name on it because that is the name of the store! Ship it to them in a nice ring box with all the original (except price) tags. If they ever ask you for jewlery again tell them you went out of business! It might work plus you might get a lot more money back than if you went a different route. ------------------ Jodi AKA PonyGirl Red 68 GT Fastback and Black 99 GT Coupe "Not your average Mustangs..." http://hometown.aol.com/redlilpony/Homepage.html |

RedLilPony---That is one of the most clever ideas I have heard in a long time. Leave it to a smart woman to come up with a logical answer.

Put it this way, If you sell it and use the ring to mod your car, then you can use your car to get you more women. And when the next one leaves you the car will still be there for you, its your best friend and it never talks back.
