Default Ahhhhh, the sounds of srping...

Yesterday it got to a balmy high 60's F here in Michigan...

You could hear the sounds of motors being cleaned out in all the neighborhoods...
...and the sound of Dan McClain (the Owner of Mustang Works) rumbling down my street in his 800hp Mustang, having all my neighbors running for cover!!!

LOL!!!

Must be nice to hear a 800 horse stang driving by. Most action I get is a 20 horse lawn mower occasionly. I hate living around old peole. Thier no fun at all. Gonna have to get my car done and see how many of the gereatrics I can wake up with a smokey burnout about 7 o'clock. I know there all in bed by then anyway if not sooner.....

Darius! SSSSSHHHH! Don't tell on me now...

Yeah, took it out for a spin for about 45 minutes last night. I just couldn't resist the weather was so nice after the winter. Boy, is it running good too... I'm going to do the clutch in the next few weeks, do a retune on the dyno, and I'll be ready to rock for this year... We'll have to hit Milan after that for a little track testing and get this project up on the site (FINALLY!). Duh!

It was really nice here in Wisconsin today. Lots of crotch rockets out but not too much for cars. I did see a really nice white Nova and an older supra. It was just nice to cruise with the windows down. I cant wait for summer
I want an 800hp stang!!

Fresh from the deep freeze...

Our spring has been late to arrive in Minnesota. Man it was nice today, but some afternoon rain spoiled the day a little. For the last week it's been edging up. In the past month, we've gotten at least 20" of snow, and highs have been in the 20s and 30s. 40's and 50's were nice to feel, but today was 60s, and gulp... Monday I heard 84*. Looks like I'll need to bust out the 'ol FZR. Might want to get a permit though, hehehe. I haven't been riding on a bike in quite a while.

Yesterday when we got the picture in my new avator (sry dan ) I saw a BEAUTIFUL ummm 65 maybe Mustang come rumbling down the street. It was midnight blue perfect looking. Made me stop and look considering I didn't see anyone ever have a car like that near where we lived.
The funny thing is while I was cleaning up the bikes an older guy came rolling by in one MEAN sounding cobra and then not even 10min later a guy comes down the street with a full out drag ready turbo Busa
COME ONE spring/summer hehe

Hehe, I know what you mean about the drag bikes. My friend has a 900RR engine, with a little modification putting out 160rwhp N/A on his dynojet. He fired it up and was playing around with it yesterday. It has a solid rear suspension right now, and a lengthened swing arm. He was warming it up on the dyno with a road race tire and when he finally started playing around with it, he spun the bike's tire on the dyno drum when he did his 4th gear roll on.

Keep in mind, this engine has been wedged into a CBR 600 F2 chassis, with 600 plastic on it. Can you say... sleeper? Hahaha.
