Just want to give you a little heads up, it is not called the SVT LX, it is called the 1993 SVT Cobra.

As for the info, go to http://93cobra.com

If you can find one, buy it!

Ian

Well, a 93 lx is about $4000, and an svt badge is $8, but I'm feeling generous, so I'll buy it for $5000 if you don't want it.

Seriously, how much are they asking for this Cobra?

I haven't seen a nice '93 Cobra priced under 12k in a couple years. They only made 5 or 10 thousand.

Nice car, not worth that kind of cash though.

235hp@5000rpm, 285lb/ft@4000rpm.

Cobra specific front grill
Cobra spoiler
Cobra taillights
GT ground effects, except for the rear valance
Cobra directional wheels
13" front brakes, 2 piston calipers
rear discs instead of drums
4cyl LX rear springs
Cobra computer (sucked)
24lb injectors
Cobra intake
65mm throttle body
Cobra cam (not so good)
Cobra roller rockers
GT-40 irons
T-5 z-spec
3.27 gears

Drop a couple tenths off the regular 5.0 for performance figures. They respond big time to a computer change. Also other mods net rewards like a cam change, exhaust mods, and better gearing.

Not sure what you are looking at... but a '93 Cobra should not be mistaken for an LX! Plus in 1993 there was NO SVT badge! But the 93 Cobra does have its own ground effects, rear bumper cover, rear wing, 17" wheels (which are uni-directional, i.e. right and left side), etc. As for production #'s, in 1993 Ford made 107 Cobra R models, and 4893 Cobra's... for a total of 5000. The easiest way to tell if its an SVT Cobra (in 1993) is the VIN#, the 8th digit is a D (COBRA only). Hope this helps clear up some stuff.... by the way I own 2 of the 1993 Cobras.
