pulled my car out and took it around the block 2x and
didnt get a chance to kill it yet because the alignment is out(just put in manual rack also) but i steped on first for a split second and the thing just redlined..i guess thats a good sign..so the 4banger project is done i just need to tidy up the fuel lines and brake lines and then get it sprayed and it will be roaming the streets..
anyways i took it around 2 blocks(3 minutes idleing around) and 2 people called the cops on me allready and one call came in as "multiply delinkwints racing on clove rd) witch is my street and barely wide enuff for 2 cars to go by in oposite directions..so people are allready being a$$holes and its not even gone fatser than 10mph yet ------------------ 1987 black notch(ex 4 banger) DSS 306 w/ main support...Elderbrock 6028 heads..gt-40 intake..24# injectors...70 mm tb..77 pro-m...accel 300+..mac full legnth..tremec w/ pro5oh...full MAC exhaust, off road h-pipe,long tubes, catback...ron davis radiator..subframes, control arms...CFDF II..o yea holley FPR sucks..dont buy one.. |

Those are the kind of people you can really have fun with and piss them off even more.

I have a couple of whacko's in my area too. So before I put her away for the winter, she got one last chance for a show.. in front of their houses..
Of course now its off the road for the weekend while it gets the new engine, so when that's broken-in then it'll be more fun. |

My advice is just to get to know your neighbors and try to be on good terms with them. I just putter along at 15-20 MPH in the neighborhood. Flows still let everyone know arrivals and departures. When I get out on the thoroughfares, then I'm in the throttle. Looking for a little fun from anyone. Close to home though, I just putter along. Most of my neighbors ask "Is that original?" I just say "almost", hee, hee, hee.

I know what you mean, just today when I was leaving the neighborhood some woman yells at the top of her lungs.. "Hey!! Slow Down!!" I almost floored it right then and there but decided I didn't need that bs. Its was a 35mph zone, I was going maybe 38(if that). Just because its loud doesn't mean its speeding or breaking any laws. I hate people like that. All the neighbor around me are pretty cool tho.
