We may be getting an SVT Focus!
I think I finally have my wife talked into getting an SVT Focus for herself. They are supposed to be coming in sometime in February and will be priced just under $20K. I have a friend who has a friend who is an SVT salesman so I may get a good deal on one.
Maybe my wife will get the mod bug too

Yeah, they have 170HP. Pretty good for a car that small, but 2750lbs is a bit heavy for a car that size so it'll have to go on a diet after it gets a supercharger LOL.

That's what the salesman told me anyway. He said they'd be coming in under $20k. I don't think I'd pay over $20k for one anyway. But they do have a pretty tricked out 6-speed tanny and differential setup along with more compression and some intake porting over the plain jane Focus's.
All that and the interior is wicked!

Those sound like pretty cool little cars. I have a friend that has a regular Focus and she likes it a lot. It's a pretty nice little car. I think the SVTs are pretty cool.

They won't be in until February so we have to wait. We're going down today though to see if our local dealer can get one ordered. I don't think they are an SVT dealer.

Well, she decided she didn't want a manual tranny so we looked at the new ZX5 (5 door hatchback) and she fell in love with a red one so she got it.
I gotta say these are great little cars. 6 disc in dash CD changer, power everything, cruise, you name it, it has it. And it has lots of pep. Here's a pic of one similar to the one she got...

Well, I got on it a little today to see what it had and it is a spunky little car. I like it. It need some exhaust and induction upgrades to realize its full potential, but my wife won't let me touch it (yet). Wait til it gets a little older and I'll say "Honey, your car needs a new header, and a full exhaust system". Then it'll need a bigger TB and MAS.
From there maybe a little port work on the head and a small blower and it'll keep up with any stock 5.0 out there I'm guessing

Sorry you didn't get the SVT, I can't imagine anyone NOT wanting a 5 speed The ZX5 is nice, but too station wagony for my taste. Hope you guys enjoy the new arrival!
