Default Well, I'm selling the '66

I decited that I'm going to sell the '66 mustang. The other day the motor pissed me off and so now I'm selling it. I need the money to finish the '79, and also to buy my friends '65 Mustang 2+2 Fastback. It's Popy red, Black interior, stock motor with stock type exaust. 89,000 miles orig. Motor has less then that, been rebuilt. 4-speed tranny. No dents. I still haven't seen it, but I really want it. I've always wanted a fastback, and a 2+2 is the better of them. Plus this car will be worth a lot more after it's been restored then my coupe will be.

What do u ppl think?

Lightbulb Bye Bye '66, Hello '65

Sounds like a good idea. Your '66 sounds a bit ragged and would need a lot of work to mint it out but the '65 - as you describe it - sounds like it just needs some freshening up.

You didn't mention the price of the '65 2+2 but with an original 89k and a straight body it's worth having if the price is reasonable.

Based on what you've given us, I would say go for it.

Go for the fastback it sounds like it would be a better choice. Especially with a four speed

Later,
Nick

He won't give me a price right now, not till I look at it. But I hope to have it before too long. Maybe this August. I'll post pics of it. He told me that it should be a stored car, but the only reason why I want an old car is to drive it.
