Default My motor will be back Thursday!! Yippie!!

I called Billy this morning to check on my motor and Shannon said that it will be ready by tomorrow and then he's gonna ship it out!! She gave me a complete rundown of what billy redid to it. I can't give out all the specs..hehe racers secrets.lol If i told you all i'd have to kill you then.lol I will tell you that it's got a sheetmetal tunnel ram with two 1150 dominators, a new fogger plate designed by Billy..and enough nitrous to spray every car in a shopping mall parking lot He said that this motor should go anywhere between 7 flat to 6.80's at around 210mph when the car is hooking like it should!! I'll keep you guys posted. I already got my new fiberglass front end from Harwood..so everything it waiting for the motor!!

No that doesn't make me happy, it makes me very jealous. VERY VERY JEALOUS! lol j/k guy I wouldn't even want that much power, cause I know I would kill myself in .... what times does it run? about 7 seconds, yeh about 7 seconds to kill myself, but when they peel me off the windshield I will still be smiling. lol I can't even imagin how much fun that would be to drive.

I give you a super CONGRATS! on that baby. =)

Andy669, the car only weights around 2240 with me in it. So it should do it easily. Besides, billy's car weights around the same thing..with the same motor, and look what he's running!! So yes, it's very possible.

i guess maple grove is right around the corner ,let us know when you get it up and running ,and if you are going to go to any other events that are semi local to me ,i'd lov to see it run and would still be willing to help in the pits ......

i read the origanal post about the back fire just didn't have enough time to reply .....been pretty busy latly ,haven't been posting much ..........been working on mine alot and trying to get it done for maple grove and cecel co ........i hope to be able to run some mid thirteen runs (with some good air ) and i've also started building a 351 for the mercury ........

well good luck with it ......if you need any help putting it back together let me know ..>will work for parts<...

Oldguy, sounds like your pretty busy. Good luck with all your projects. Mid 13's aren't that bad. It's quicker than you think!! A mid 13 second ride is better than having a 7 second ride like mine because of the low maintenance. I have to tear mine down about every 30 passes and refrehsin it. You don't!! hehe. So be glad that you still have something that will get good gas mileage and still have all the luxories. I'll definately let you know when i get it running and i might make some passes up at Cecil when it's done.

RadicalGT I really think Billy makes more than 1300 horsepower in his Pro 5.0 car. The top Outlaw guys are making upwards of 16-1700 and running consistent 7.90s. And dont think that just because the Outlaw guys are 1000 pounds heavier, that is the difference between between the two classes et's.
