Default Why MW absolutely rocks...

Was doing some web-surfing today, and dropped by a site I haven't been to in over a year.... corral.net

Do you know how long I stayed? about 3 minutes...

While I'm sure there are very nice people who frequent the board, I noticed an inordinate amount of people who seemed to be there to say "look how great I am" or "look how much money can be spent on a car"

Every other poster in their modular forum seems to have around 30 grand laying around to have a totally built shortblock with a perfectly tuned forced induction setup with a little nitrous on top. Not exactly the guys or girls next door I can relate to. Some of us have to scrimp and save.... Can you say saving up for 3 to 4 months (Ramen Noodles) to get that Tremec TKO?

Also, while I agree that a large amount of posters in a message board is usually good. I find it hard to sift through a large amount of posts to get to REAL information and help. Actually, I could see it becoming frustrating...

Well, I'm once again reminded where quality Mustags, informative posts and down-to-Earth people meet: Mustangworks...

Thumbs up Mustang Works vs the world

At the risk of being accused of engaging in mutual self-congratulation, I agree;

I agree that mustangworks is a great site.
I frequent the corral and ahve about 100 hundred less posts then I do here. It is like family here on mustangworks and there is usually no flame wars. The corral is not like that as much. I ahve made some good friends on the corral to and i can't bash it at all. The only problem there is that a post will disapear in a matter of hours from the front page and there tends to be some flame wars and controversy.

I am a member at several sites:

Mustangworld.com, clubsi.com, camaroz28.com are all for laughs

98cobra.com is a decent site, but I frequent it mostly cause it's made up of people near me.

corral.net is not too bad. Yeah everyone has an 11 sec ride, but overall it's cool.

But I consider Mustangworks my home, and for my .02, the quality of posters here is unmatched!!

Since I came here, I don't even go to other sites anymore. No need to.

This is the best Mustang Site I've seen. Hell, its the best Forum Site I've seen regardless of Subject matter.

I'm also a Memeber of LS-1.com (Yeah yeah..I know..We all know why I joined that one) and V6power.com (My friend The Sandman posts there alot).

I havent been to either in a long long time though. This is my family right here, on MW.

Hey merc what is your ls1.com name? I am a member there too but i only go to the anything goes forum because there are a lot of really funny people over there. My name is the same as it is here. But Mustangworks seems to be better because you seem to get to know the people here better. So yes this is the first site i usually go to when i come online.

Mustangworks rocks!

MidNiteBlu

On LS1.com I post under the same name...Mercury. With as many members as it has, I was surprised to get my name. That name was ment for me.

If I ever have a child, his middle name is going to be Mercury.

Yeah, I go to LS1.com too under this name. I do have accounts for Stangnet and the Corral, but I think combined I have under 15 posts between them and I only go to those sites if I have:

A) already looked at all the posts I wanted to at Mustangworks.
B) went to LS1.com to see what's new in the AAG forum.
C) looked to see if there were any cool mustang pics at mustangworld.com
D) checked out Foxnews.com for any interesting news stories.
E) surfed ESPN.com thoroughly.
F) checked and responded to all e-mail.
and G) am bored off my arse.

So you can see that MustangWorks comes first! Always has, always will.
