Default acid proof paint?

This may be in the wrong forum, so move it if necessary. But, we are looking for some type of acid proof paint for use on the battery tray in my step-dad's truck. Anyone know of anything?

Just clean the battery up, new terminal cables maybe, and you shouldn't have any acid.

That is what I was thinking too, but for some reason my step-dad is wanting acid proof paint. He is VERY particular about everything he does, even if something he is doing is not necessary. He knows a ton about cars and stuff (he helped me a lot with my Stang and is an airline mechanic), but just seems stuck on finding acid proof paint.

I guess I should call my old work ( SHerwin-Williams). They may know of something. I should of thought of that sooner.
