Default got rear ended

well we were cruisin around at lunch wehn we stoped along side the road to talk to some friends of ours. after sitting there for 30 seconds we hear rrrrrrrrrrr boom...i looked in the mirror just as she hit us...i flew out of the car ready to kick some *** but it was a girl.....who would have guessed a blond would run into a parked car while doing 60kmh..well at first it didn't look to bad but as i look at it the bumper is junk adn all bent up,bumper cover is equally bent up as well as the peices of the ground effects that meet it....the rear quarter panel was pushed into the door which now the door doesn't fit right and moves around...the quarter panel now bows out enough to be noticed.....the taillight coversare bent and the car leans substantially to the passenger side

i am pissed and to top it off my back is sore...the passenger of the car now has a sore neck also

i hadn't called my mom yet because i opted to go to the hospital to get my back checked ouyt when the girls insurance company called my mom who started freaknig out
she came to the hospital and found me though and she was shaking

i am alright though and it seems the ppl in the other car were to
the airbags went off in there car and shattered the windows...there car had to be towed away bt i drove mine away
her car was a bonneville
btw she hit the brakes 10 feet from where i was parked.....because of the nose dive she went under the *** end of my car

her insurance is covering it and she was charged

Rage, it's not that nobody cares. It's just that things are going for you about as well as can be hoped for under the circumstances.

The girl was charged.

Your back, neck, etc. are OK.

Her insurance has accepted responsibility for repairs.

Looks like things are gonna be more or less Ok. I personally am sorry for the damage to your car as a repair is never as good as the original.

That sucks bro. But I am very glad you are not seriously injured...that is the most important thing. You can replace a car but not your body..That happened to me when I pulled over after being caught for speeding taking my wife to the hospital when she was in labor. But the girl hit the cop car first then mine. This is not a bash against women at all either. Just for the record.

That really sucks man. Very sorry that had to happen. Glad you are okay though. A few months ago, a friend of mine, while he was in his thunderbird, got rear-ended by some 17 year old girl who was going about 70 in a 45mph speed zone-- he was going ~45mph. He's got back and neck problems now that are getting worse. I am glad though your insurance is gonna cover it and that she was charged.

I'm sorry to hear about your accident, i've been in...hell i can't really remember because my friends are horrible drivers and so am i, and i can tell you that i'm not too fond of them. Like already mentioned, you're not seriously hurt although you'll probably have to get treated for your back if that's bad enough. My knees and back are messed up from accidents, and all my treatment is coming out of my insurance, most of the accidents were my friends' faults and didn't hurt at the time. At least she didn't try to drive away from the scene of the collision or do something dumb.
again, sorry to hear about your situation.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but my best guess is your car will be totalled. With 1/4 damage, you're looking at $1000 a side, easy.

That being said, I've had cars totalled out and been hurt too. Be glad you were able to hop out of the Stang, and your friend and you just have some sore muscles.

Good luck on it all, sorry to hear about it, dude.

yeah i guess it could have been a lot worse...
was my airbag supposed to go off or do they only go off in front end collisions???
in canada the book value on a mint cobra(gt)is 4800 canadian and mine is not close to mint prolly a 7/8-10 .if a quarter is 1000 amnerican that means 1500 canadian plus all the other ****

looks like i might have to be searching for a new car again

Look at it as an opertunity Rage, if the car isn't totaled maybe you can pick up some new ground effects or bumper cover that the insurance will cover. If it is totaled, you can allway buy it for the salvage and fix it up yourself. At least your ok.
