Post I made my choice!!!

I decided to go with the mustang!!!!!!!!!!

I must have asked a total of 50 people between this board, work and my friends and only 2 said go with the probe.
I forget who it was on here that really help me make my choice but he said about how probes break down alot and parts are 3x as much. I will have to go back a look who that was now and thank him.
As soon as Uncle Sam sends me my refund,I will have another mustang in the family!!
Thanks for all your opinions, they really help me decide.

Excellent choice!! - If its going to be a winter driver, make the investment and pick up a set of 10 holes (should be able to get these cheap at a swap meet) and mount up a set of 4 Blizzaks or Dunlop Graspics. They will transform the beast into a respectable winter runner.

I already have a set of ten holes. I was going to upgrade my '82 to 15" wheels.
How much do these Blizzaks or Graspics cost?(approx) Do I really need 4 winter tires?

I've bought 2 sets of blizzaks from Tire Rack - found them to be good people to deal with and quite a bit cheaper than the local tire dealers arond here. They highly recommend that they be used in sets of four because of their high traction capabilities. Would probably be in the neighborhood of $300 for a set of four. The trick with these is to put them on as late in the season as possible and get them off as early as you can as they are a pretty soft compound and will definitely wear quicker than a regular all season tire. I usually put mine on in late Dec/early Jan and get them off by the middle of March and I will get 3 to 4 seasons out of them. Super9089 - There are quite a few of us from New England who hang out here - glad to see another one!

Good choice, i had a 93 probe gt and i loved it, it was all tricked out had the intake exhaust all that stuff, but it was expensive to work on. i had sold that to get my baby, its my pride and joy my mustang. i did love the probe, but i love the mustang even more
