Thumbs up

I just saw Vanilla Ski today, and I would highly recommend it. There were tons of good plot twists and it kept you guessing throughout the entire movie. Great cinematography, excelent directing, and a good performance by the cast all combined to make this one of the best movies I've seen in awhile.

That and the showcase car was a Mustang.

I saw it too, and thought it was very surreal... ya have to pay attention or you'll be lost. The previews don't tell ya everything that's gonna happen that's for sure!

Smile Watch the worst movie you can find.

I saw Ocean's Eleven saturday night. It reminded me of Swordfish. It was pretty good.

I JUST got finished watching The Evil Within. Has anyone seen that movie? Funny. Suppose to be horror.

I suggest this: get together with a few good friends and rent the STUPIDEST movie you can find. (Got this idea from Mystery Science Theatre 2000). You will be enlightened. It's GREAT, but you gotta have the right people watching it with you. I do it at least once every 2 months.

The Fellowship of the Rings is excellent but you have to like fantasy and having read the Tolkin trilogy, as I did, helps a lot. Not for everyone but well done.
Part II is out 12/2002.

A Beautiful Mind is supposed to be an Oscar contender. The (true) story of John F. Nash, a mathematical genius who discovered a breakthrough math theory early in his career but went off the deep end for about twenty years, only to come back to sanity and win the Nobel Prize.
Not for everyone, but what movie is?

I recently rented Rush Hour 2 (Jackie Chan) and enjoyed it. Pretty much a remake of the first film of the same name but a different setting.

Memento is also on DVD/VHS and a challenging mystery story, played backwards. Takes concentration to 'get it' but I found it worth the effort.

Lots more but that my contribution to the movie suggestion box for now.

I seen Ocean 11 last night and found it to be a pretty good movie. Good acting and good plot, I found it to be worth while although movies are so freaking expensive to go watch. I also watched Fast and the Furious today. Ohh.. man what a crappy movie. lol I love to watch it just to point out stupid things. lol But it's a great movie if you know nothing about cars.

Default The Royal Tenenbaum

I went to the Royal Tenenbaum last night. It was entertaining but very bizzarr. The story line and characters were a bit off the wall. But really, no complaints here! It was just nice to get out and see a flick since I hadn't been in 6 months!
