dealer round the way has a cobra r!!
not seeing one up close yet, i was kinda excited..my girl and i pull out of my neighborhood into traffic on our way to lunch and what sight am i treated to?..the ford dealer two blocks from house has a Cobra R sitting right there on the corner int the prime display spot..so i of course immediatley cut over 3 lanes in traffic in my girls car (he he, new 01 stang v6 with like 100 miles on it to check it out..i gotta say, that is one beautiful car..i couldnt believe they got that thing stickered at $80k!!!! unreal..i dont even make enough for a test drive..so i'm there faoming at the mouth telling my girlfriend what i'd do with this mass of mechanical magnificence and she starts yapping about no radio, no back seat, $80k, etc..then i said "woman, you be quiet you're ruining this for me" and she did..she'll never understand, but you guys do..god what a nice ******* car..

My wife liked a lot of the same stuff I do before we got married, I think she use to under stand or maybe it was a good show but after marriage every thing seemed to change.
And what I would not give for a car like that, well you know what I mean. ------------------ James Cox nochevy@hotmail.com 1991 Mustang LX Best 1/8 time on motor 7.686 @90.20mph |

It seems to me that people in general--based on observation--could give crap less one about their cars. Look at the cars in a crowded parking lot. Mustangers are a rare breed indeed. I despise the unrealistic sticker price markup. As for the aestethics, I have the Maisto 1/18 version and although it is a mere diecast replica I drool profusely. Get this though, I saw an ad somewhere offering the front splitter. I sincerely hope that this type of aftermarket supply does not create fake Cobra R's. I can hear it all now from the bowtie boys, I smoked a Cobra R today......
