Default Look at the interior on this thing!

I was looking at Cougars, as usual, and I run across what seems like the perfect car. I'm thinking $13,500 is more than I wanted to pay but this looks like its worth it. How can I get my hands on $13,500??

Then I click on the interior picture... I was expecting a pristine stock interior and instead I see this..

What the Heck was this guy thinking?!?! The car looks perfect except for the screwed up interior! Diamond plate and velvet?!?! Is it just me or does this look like total crap?!

Great example of how "customizing" the look of a car kills resale...for any year.

The car itself is beautiful, I love those Cougars, but you're right. The inside should really have been restored to the original, or as close as possible. I'd still take it though!

Can't stand the interior but the exterior is absolutely beautiful. I may just have to change my current wallpaper to this car, I just wish it was in a better setting. Here is a picture of my current wallpaper..

That is a nice car. The velvet screws things up. I like the two tone colors if it is done right like in the new cobras.

There was a 69 428 4 speed Cougar that went $3200 recently. It was unrestored and didn't run, but complete.

Id have to have a good Eliminator for 13k.
