Post Price on a 87GT

My gf found a bright red 1987 GT.

It has a 5-speed tranny
Stock 5.0 Motor
Lowered with springs, shocks, new control arms...
Has a few door dings and a crack over the rear fender..New Paint
About a 5inch gash in the driver seat
Power Steering
Power Windows
Power Locks
Tilt Wheel
AM/FM Cassette
130,000 miles
How much longer do you guys think this car can run..I drove it and it felt strong. But I think they are asking to much..they are asking $4,500...Blue book value is only $3,830..Should I tell her to let this one go and find another one??

Doesn't sound super nice to me, I wouldn't pay anywhere near 4500 for it.

Cool

Keep looking! Thats too much money to ask for a car in that condition with that many miles.

First mustang I bought was a 85 Mustang GT,carbed,5-speed. It had perfect paint, perfect grey interior, and had 80,000 miles...when I sold the car it had 85,***.I bought it for $4000,sold it for $4500 with new Mac exhaust

The 87GT I have presently ..I bought for $8000 with near perfect paint, perfect grey interior,100% stock with 40,100 miles.

Just tonight I saw a white 87GT with red interior for $2000 or best offer in the classifieds. The deals are out there, you just gotta keep your eyes open and tell her to take her time in deciding
