Default Latest site like "Napster"

Hey guys my new computer has a burner and with my cable modem I thought that I could down load some music. I've ben out of the "scene" for the last 12 to 18 months. I know Napster is dead, but there must be a cool site that replaced it??

"Limewire" is good and "Morpheus" isn't to bad either. I'm not sure of the addresses but a search should turn them up pretty quick.

I hear that "Blubster" is the newest one, but I've never used it. I have never had a problem with KaZaALITE . Make sure you get the "lite" version, as it doesn't have of the spyware that those other programs have ....ahem* ^^^...

I use Limewire, but I'm always interested in something better. James, tell me about GNucleus!

Take care,

I prefer Kazaa, never wasn't able to find something I was looking for. It has movies, mp3's, games, software, pictures. Tons of stuff. Great and very fast and effective.
For mp3's I like winmx too but I usually just stick with Kazaa.

theres a problem with Kazaa though...its advanced search sucks...if you like to listen to quality music you should want it at at least 192kpbs...Kazaa only lets you search up to 128...so i use songspy...itll list the bitrate higher than 128 to make sure you get the better quality songs but it only does audio sharing...so your bootleg vids and stuff should still come from Kazaa

I use WinMx. I like the last version better than the one now. Sometimes I have to click the search button five or six times just so it can search but the computer I have can download songs by at least 100+ K. Or about a 5 min song in about 40 seconds if that. So that makes up for it, I have over 5000 songs and over 50 car videos.

That's nice.

I just hooked myself up with cable, and was using Kazaa. Unfortunately I had been lax with updating my Norton, so ZAP!! Loveletter virus ate up all my movie and picture files.

So, off to Circuit Schity I went, and once I had installed and cleaned up my system with the antivirus, I was aghast to see how many other people on Kazaa have viruses and don't even know it! 8 out of 10 files were infected with some sort of bug!

Bottom line, switched to Morpheus, problem solved

It's amazing how much virus activity I'm getting lately... WKlez is rampant. I get it alot lately, and my mother and sisters computer had like 6 viruses each till i just upgrades their virus scans...
Here is a copy of my activity log for norton, and towards the end you see it picking up activity....
