A power adder, IMO, is anything that adds power. Don't confuse things that only add reliability, though, like ignition components, expensive filters, and gears.
Merry Christmas

Hmm.... Blower, Turbo & N20 got my vote...
but it is true, there is no replacement for displacement. §am.

When I hear or read 'power adder' I think of a blower, turbo, or nitrous. And, for some reason, I begin to think of people that unknowingly refer to nitrous as nos, NOS or N02.... all wrong of course, but oh well. I'll get over it... maybe
"Dude, when you gonna put some nos on your car?!?!?" *cringe* |

I'm with §am on this one. stroker is kind of a hidden power adder. you can pop your hood and if you have a blower or nitrous they will know unless you hide the nitrous but there no way to tell what size motor you have if you have a stroker kit in it. can claim 302 and have 331 or 347 and i think there's more stroker kits for a 302. could even go 351 and stroke it out 393, 408 and 427 too? chevy guys might not be too happy getting there door blown off by a 427!
