Vacation/New Ride
Well, my vacation didn't go like I planned. I spent the first week with my girl(we're talking again) and the next week shopping a car and getting a passport for international travel(atleast I finally have one of those). I ended talking my little 98 sonoma to Fla and about an hour from Ocala the tranny started screwing up on me. My plans for going to Arizona and Mexico were out the window as I had to take care of the problem at hand. I did end up having a good time and we went out every night. I spent my days trying to get the truck fixed and then decided to haul it home and buy a new car instead. I drove all over central Fla on the bike(hauled it on the back of the sonoma), I put 200 miles on it last friday alone(that was fun). I really enjoyed riding around and ended up buying a vehicle in Orlando. I got 0% financing for 60 monthes(can't beat that). BTW, if you are in the market for a Ford there is a dealership just north of Orlando that discounts all their new cars(SVT included), no "Adjusted Market Value" crap. Anyhow, I ended up with another Chevy. Guess I'm a traitor once again.

Here is the other side of it. Looks like I'm gonna have to break down and mow the yard, again.

I'm having some problems with my account Belle. I finally just registered again. I emailed Dan about it and he says he hasn't seen that problem before. I dunno.

Heeh. Josh, I figured that would give an idea of the size of this truck, its huge, and show that I'm still a Ford/mustang man at heart. There is just something about Chevy trucks that I love, especially the Z71s. I looked at a couple Lightnings and they were about the same price but with the financing(no 0% for 60 monthes) it was a bit much for me to bite off at the present time. Besides, we have a beach we can drive on here and Sunday night when I got home me and the girl were out there doing donuts on the beach. This truck was a demo and I talked them down over $7k off the sticker price($39K) and still got the 0% because it was never titled. Here is another pic with the sunroof open and all the windows down/out.

ROFL!!! Thanks Kelly!! I figured I'd get some ribbing on this matter. One last pic I just have to show you guys and I'll quit taking up space with this POS Chevy(hehehe). This is a pic of the built in insulated cooler it comes with, NO KIDDING!! It has one on both sides so that no one can steal my cold err.. beverages while I'm out surfing. This cooler has a drain and is supposed to keep my 'beverages' cold all day(Did I mention it has one on BOTH sides?!?!).

im sorry Rick, but it is ugly. it does have cool options(no pun intended), but its fugly. but hey, if it works, kewl! congrats on your new truck. i am not saying that cause i dislike Chevy's(which i dont), it just my personal preference.

I'm sorry Rick in the second pic all I see is a black stang......that's it....nothing else.....is there a truck in there? Maybe I should try looking at the background or something.
BTW, Rick on the 3rd pic the stang is off center . You can only see the front right part of it....guess you better practice your picture taking skills.
