Wheeles Up?
Well I honestly never thought I would pull a wheelie in my car. But I actually did. And not only 1 tire, both tires. Did it shock anyoen else when it happend for the first time? I'm still in shock. Next time I hope for some better pics and video of it.

I never knew I could get my front wheels off the ground until someone told me. I had a pretty good idea that I could. But never-the-less I was shocked on two different occasions what I got them off the ground on street driving!

I stopped to talk with a buddy of mine(he has a mustang) at the Jiffy Lube(where he works) and when I was leaving he said "Hey! pull the front tire like you did last time!!" I stopped in my tracks "what?!? I pulled the front tire?!?" He said "Yeah! a couple of the guys here saw it too!"(other guys shaking heads, yeah) I was pumped, I was on stock sized ZR1s the last time. I tried to pull them again but this time I just sat in the middle of the road and spun. It must be because the front tires(205/60s) are shorter than the rears now(265/50s).
Sky, did you realize you were pulling the tires when you did it? Do you have a front sway bar intact? ------------------ Rick My 89lx(updated 2/21/2001) My 97 Cobra |

In my younger/stupider days I was running 12.80's without the subframes tied & the driveshaft loop held to the floor only with stainless sheet metal screws. I about $hit my pants when the floor flexed so bad it ripped the screws off & dropped the driveshaft loop on the driveshaft. A guy who had seen the pass said my car was best described as a dog trying to run & $hit at the same time but I was getting almost a foot of air on the driver side.
