Everytime I find a race I'm in the wrong car???

Last week it was nice here in St.Louis so I drive the stang for a couple of days. Not one race or even anyone to throw a rev at.Well yesterday and today I drove the truck. Guess what, I passed a couple of mustangs and a Z28 flow by me last night. Why doesn't this happen when I'm in the mustang? It never fails.

Don't worry, you are not the only one. We came upon a nice 90 ish 6Banger Camaro the other day..
The light turned green, I slammed the gas down and went for all she was worth....
I got the jump, but the Camaro was catching up quickly.... The gear shifted into second and I couldn't (lol) believe he was passing me. Somminum Batchin Fargin Bastage beat me. Well maybe next time I'll be in the Mustang instead of the WIFE'S Mitsu GS. (Goes Slo) LOL.

I find that this happens to me but in a different way. When I'm driving in the stang, I'll see plenty of potential races but they are always going the other way!!

It happened again. Today going in to work I see a 2000gt in and out of traffic. I worked my way up just to hear it. Guess what we lined up at a RED. I wish my g/f's gran prix was supercharged. It would have been fun.

When I am in the 99, all I see is classic muscle cars and when I am in the 68 all I see is new muscle cars... WHAT GIVES!!!!

being in the wrong car at the wrong time or being in the good car all the time against slow cars is wrong. what really is wrong is when you are really in the mood for racing and you hit every single green light. here in sandusky we have a long stretch (approx 3 miles) of a 5 lane road called 250 and we have 8 stoplights on the road. there are days when i'm really into racing, but every single light will be green. that is what really makes me angry.

That happens to me often. What's worse is when I AM in one of my mustangs, someone wants to race me and my girlfriend will be with me and she HATES to go fast.

I've had my Stang nearly a year now and the only race I've had with it was with an ElCamino that I believe could have put a hurtin on me if it wasn't for the rain. I've been itching to find an LS1 just so I could see what they had. But everytime I do see one it's an older woman driving.

Now that my Stang is in pieces I have found that there is this 3000GT that races by me every day on my way to work about the same time. My wife's Neon won't hang with this guy, I've tried. I'm willing to bet once I get my Stang going (HOPEFULLY this weekend) that he'll never be seen again for a real race.

They're always going the other way, or they always have the wrong person driving them. That about sums it up.

yeah, girlfriends are a problem too. Everytime I pulled up to a light w/my ex she would be like 'oh no, you're not going to race him.' and i was like 'but he's revving at me.' than she would say too bad and i would go along with her and tell her i wouldn't race, but punch it anyway when the light goes green. she used to get so mad at me. oh well.

I seem to get a lot of races in my Power Stroke. It is slow, but I have a K&N conical filter and I can pull like 15-17 psi of boost depending on the conditions. The conical filter makes the turbo sound like a jet engine. Next is a better downpipe and straight piped exhaust, can you say school bus!

I get plenty of races in my mustang. Just sometimes the g/f is with and I get beat for jumping on it.

Well I tell you I'm always in the wrong car too but thats cus I don't own a mustang yet and still have the darn lo-po 5.0 in the Lincoln. Mom says get straight A's and you can have a mustang...and I reply mom I'm in college they don't have a's they only give c's
