Post Road Demon: good,bad,ugly

Recently installed a new Road Demon.

1.) The Good: Ran .1-.2 better in the 1/4 on the G-Tech with virtually no tuning. Adjusted the idle screws and the idle stop and that was it.

2.) The Bad: Test run and the throttle stuck 3/4 open. Not good. Shut off the ignition and forced the rod back to about 1500 and limped home. Slightly pissed.

3.) The Ugly: The fast idle mechanism came apart and when inspected afterwards looked like cheap Taiwanese junk. After many hours (I'm slow), it looks like everything is fixed. I did have to J&B Weld one part back together (don't worry, it's stronger now than before). I do think Barry Grant needs a new supplier for his electric chokes on the Road Demons.
