Default what to do?

I can get a 429 with everything but a carb, running for only $100, or less. It does need a rebuild. If I did get it, what the hell would I do with it, where would I put it? Anyone want it? I can pick up, if someone buys it. I know where to get another 429 for about $200. But I don't know how good it is.

I think he meant a boat motor. I would buy it, if you can get it for less than a $100, consider it a steal. I love motors.

I would love to have it, but I have now place to put it. I'm already taking my 289 back home to my dad, I can't fit a 429 in there too.

I think it would be awesome to have a room with just a bunch of motors in it, have you seen Lingenfelters storage room? Ahhhhhh 100-LS6 motors, 200-LS1's.....etc.....

Dood, I don't care if you don't have any room for it. Buy the bastard. Put it in your Bronco or something. Or give it to me for X-mas.....I'm sure I could rig it in my Nissan truck...hehe...kind of like 1BAD89 did with his S10.

Here on base they have strick rules. There is no way to have it in my room. I have no storage, and the place that has the motor now is trying to get rid of it. I also have no money to store it off base.

Hey but that thing then turn around and sell it. U can easily make a 429 into alot more cubes. someone will buy it or do something with it. Hell i wish i could get that thing i would keep it and go out and find myself a 64 Falcon omg that would be bad car.

Dani-
Hehehe, no, I meant as an engine. The 429's, 460's, and GM 455's were/are all excellent skiboat engines.

69fastback-
Dude, a buddy of mine and I spent a year building a '64 Ranchero with a mild 306, and it was a workout shoehorning it all into that tiny engine compartment. If you can squeeze a 429 into one, you have just earned a spot on my list of The Great Ones! I would be very interested in seeing that done!

Take care,
-Chris
