Oh Where oh where has our little PKRWUD gone.
I'm a little nervous about PKRWUD. He was supposed to call me this Thursday when he got to San Fran. But I didn't get a call or message. Has anyone heard from him yet???

Topless-
Thank you. I hope your Christmas was fun-filled and friendly to the touch. Those are the best kind. The rest of you folks are seriously touched in the head, but I loves ya anyway. I was in Florida spending Christmas with my Mother. To tell you the truth, she has a computer and internet access, but it's a dial-up modem, and she has AOL. I can't afford to buy her a new Mac, and if I had to deal with AOL @ 32 Kbps for more than 5 minutes, I would have surely broken things in anger. I tried to show her my website, but after 30 minutes we had only seen a fraction of it because it's so heavy with pictures. I personally can't stand AOL, and I've had DSL for 2 years now, and just couldn't stand it long enough to try and surf the MW (or any other) message boards. Honestly, I don't see how you folks that still use a dial-up and/or AOL do it. You are far more tolerant than I. Kaspar- I had to change planes in S.F. and was supposed to have a 3 hour layover, but due to rain, we spent an hour and a half flying around the airport, and when we finally did land, I spent some time with the young lady that was sitting next to me on the flight from Burbank. I'm sorry I didn't call, but quite honestly, you weren't on my mind at the time (her name was Tonya). Anyway, I am sorry for forgetting, and appreciate your concern. If you ever find yourself down this way, give me a call. My number is 805-650-BONE (2663). Scott- Dude, I posted a thread here asking for help from Bay Area people, and you blew me off. Okay, actually, I did post a thread, but I should have just emailed you direct. Problem was, I completely forgot you were up there. My bad. I was trying to find out if there was anything to do at S.F. airport. If anyone cares, other than paying $8.95 for a cup of soup, there isn't. Tonya and I both smoke, but there aren't any smoking areas in the airport, so we made a couple ventures outside by the passenger drop-off (1 time) and passenger pick-up (1 time). At the lower level I watched a large, yet short Hispanic female police officer give a ticket to a lady in a truck who was stopped in the same spot at the curb for more than 30 seconds. She hadn't even put it in Park, but she was there long enough to get a ticket. Our smoke breaks also allowed us to go through security twice. S.F. airport security for the United and American terminals was made up almost entirely of Phillipino women who spoke terrible English, and who all were both PMS'ing, and just in a crappy mood in general. I was selected "randomly" for a thorough search in Burbank, and passed through the SF checkpoint with no problems the first time. The second time, this bytch from hell decided to rifle through my bag. She spent a good 2 minutes going through my shaving bag when she found a 29 cent pair of nail clippers that had gotten wedged under the board that lines the bottom of the bag. I had no clue they were there, and Burbank missed it as well as the first pass through SF, but this 4 foot-nothing, 55 year old witch from Manila found it. She asked me if I wanted to go back and check it through. I swear, she really did. I told her she could keep it, and she decided I needed to be more thoroughly searched. Tonya found this all very funny, but I was getting pissed. She went through my pockets, my wallet, the entire contents of my carry-on, and then opened an unopened can of Pringles I had in my bag, and tossed it back in my carry-on with the lid off. I ended up with broken potato chip fragments imbedded in my magazines, my book, my shaving bag, including my hair and tooh brushes, etc. The final straw was going into the book/magazine store that was 20 yards past the security checkpoint, and finding the exact same type of nail clippers for sale for $2.49. Whoa. Sorry about that little rant. I'm okay. My Mom told me so. Take care, -Chris

Chris-
I was not pleased with the way I was treated, but the 3 National Guardsmen with their 25-round-clip-installed M-16's convinced me to remain calm, and deal with it. Tonya lives in the "hills north of Boise" in Idaho, so I don't see anything long term coming from our time together. The airport was very crowded, but we managed to spend some quality time together. She is a very nice young lady, and we did enjoy each others company. We have both extended an open invitation to each other should one of us be in the other's neighborhood, but I'm not holding my breath. For me, it was damn near perfect. I'm not looking for the same face everyday. Take care, -Chris

Hey, I'm glad u made it back ok. U had me a little worried there. My dad said that u were probaly the "shoe bomber".-lol he was jokeing though. I'll tell u what, if ahe did the chip thing to me, i'd said a lot to her. Since I'm in the military, I woundn't have worried about the stupid NG's. I'd just showed my Military ID, and hoped they leave me alone-lol Probaly wounldn't had worked though, but it's worth a try.

I didn't realize that she had left the cap off until I was on the plane, but I did feel an incredible urge to just slap the schit out of her.
Take care, -Chris
