![]() First off, I really like the new Cobra and I definitely think that it's a step in the right direction. With that said, I feel that there are a couple of issues that need to be addressed.
1. Weight - The car is going to be a heavy pig. With the Iron Block, t-56 transmission, and Eaton supercharger, I'm guessing the curb weight will be somewhere around 3600-3700lbs. 2. The 2.66 first gear ratio. There is already a Mustang spec t-56 with a 2.95 first gear, so why not use that? 3. The IRS - What's wrong with having an optional live axle? Plus, it would save about 80-90 lbs. Don't get me wrong though....If I had the money, I'd probably buy one. I'm really anxious to see how they perform on the track/dyno along with how well they respond to mods.
