Default Free Drinks... I just bought a Bar

A 8 Pt. roll bar that is. If your lucky I might spring fopr a case of Mickey light but thats about it. I ordered the 8 Pt. bar from S&W. got a good deal as they're on sale right know. They dont have internet order capabilities but its ok. I am very satisfied with the service so far. If the bar is as nice as the guy on the phone was there will be no complaints. Aside from quailty (which I wont see till next week) I would say order this bar if you're lookin. He said it would arrive a week from tommorrow. I think thats kinda slow but its a big item so it isnt that bad. Update coming as soon as I can get my welder out of his old ladies house and get some work done.

awesome! i love the mean look that roll bars give (as well as the safety)

is S&W the one with the door bars that are pretty low or am i thinking of something else?

I'd love to get one, but since they add a decent amount of weight, im gonna wait until I actually need it to race

From all I can tell in the pictures on the net the bars are pretty low. I hope they are anyway. I kinda have a beer gut so gettin in and out of this thing may be hard. Might have to Bo and Luke Duke It huh.

Nice Congrats on the bar. I wanted too and still want to put one in my car, most likely for the look too but probably later on in time. We had a insurance broker come to my class not to long ago and I was telling him about my car and insurance and he's like they don't consider it a safe car. I'm like what if I put in a roll cage and smile and he's like they'll just laugh at you cause they won't even insure you. lol You know if you put a roll cage in your car you either got something bad *** or planning too.

Hey darius. I frequent your site all teh time. I am gonna make my cage like your I belive. I like the way it goes between the rear shock towers and had the camera mount. I just think thats cool. My car will not reatain any of the stock interior though. Gonna try to crpet the holw thing with speaker box like carpet. Gonna paint the roll bar blue (the exterior color, every thing else will be black. Seats will be summit seats with black and blue covers and harness will be blue. Hoping it looks as good as your Dar.

One suggestion (regret) is to measure legroom for the main hoop. Should'a had the bar leaning back a degree or two, so the shoulder/headrest didint hit the main hoop, and make me mount the seat about an inch or two too far forward.

SWEET I just got my Roll bar in. It came Fed-ex today. It wasnt even supposed to be here until Wed. or Thurs. Props to S&W Race cars. They have my business from now on out. If the fit is a good as the service I will be very pleased.
