![]() I have a drop top 89LX that has a thristy drive motor (vert drive). Any advice is welcome.

![]() The top needs to be up, then pull out the black rubber plug on the passenger side of the motor. Fill it with ATF (auto trans fluid) untill it starts to come out, then run the top up and down several times to bleed it while refilling as required. That should quench the thirsty drive. But on to serious matters.
