Question Clunk & Steering Play

I have installed the new control valve, power ram, hoses & pump in the 67 stang. I also replaced the steeering box with a used one, but now I have 1/8 turn play in the steering (better than the 1 1/4 turn play I had before) and a pronounced "clunk" when turning the wheel before the pitmann arm moves.

Anyone have any repair ideas?
