![]() Where, How, Can I, raise the rev limit on my speed density computer? I have been crossing on it, it is a pain to be over with too early. No tire or gear changes, don't say it.

![]() only thing i can think of is a custom burnt chip if someone makes it for the speed density. how about a speed management system?

![]() I know how to defeat the speed limiter in Ford ECM's, but the only way I know to defeat the rpm limiter is with a chip. Most aftermarket chips do this automatically, but for you, a custom burned chip would be much better.
Take care, ~Chris

![]() I heard this from a mechanic that used to work at a ford dealership and he said he was told by one of the head mechanics there that if you hit the limiter a few time quickly in succession it will be bypassed.
example: floor car and hit the limiter and let off and floor again to hit it. friend said he and someone else tried and about the 5th time he floored it the engine went to 7000 rpm's. that was on a autometer monster tach and they verified that it was hitting the limiter at 6250 rpms. i'm not saying it will work just something i heard.
