Waiting is just so hard to do !!!
I ordered my mustang 3 weeks ago and the dealer said anything from 4-8 weeks. Of course, I'm hoping for 4 weeks which would be next monday but I'm guessing 6 weeks all together.
Fortunately, the weather has been only in the 60s for the past week or so or I'd be going nuts thinking what I could be doing on a warm day with the top down. |

mustang
It's a new v6 red mustang with a black top. I would have loved to get a GT 'vert but I couldn't exactly afford that style.
I can't wait to buy it and then drive by the local dealership and say thanks for nothing...they refused to order me one and I went to a dealer 40 mins away. |

Sounds cool. Hopefully they won't make you wait to long for it and you'll have it in time for the nice weather. Enjoy!

If the factory had to build it, I'd say it's gonna be closer to 6-8 weeks. After a week or two of placing your order, your dealer should have received the VIN # of your car. After that, they should get updates of when the build date is, when the ship date is, and when it's scheduled to arrive at the dealership.
Ask your dealer if he can call and get an update for you. It might make the waiting a little easier if you can follow the birth of your baby. The number is a 1-800 # and your salesman will need his dealer code. If he doesn't know what your talking about, ask on www.blueovalnews.com . Soneone over there should know the #.
