Default getting a spare key

i want to get a spare key made for my 97 because it only came with one. the problem is that it is one of the electronic keys so i cant just have a copy made. just wondering if any of you have done it and how much it was, or maybe if there is a way around it (which im guessing theres not unless you somehow disable the code reader). im gonna take a ride tomorrow to my local ford dealership and talk to them, i was just wondering what kinds of numbers to expect, and if i have to wait a few weeks or they can do it there etc. any info would help, thanks!!

damn those electronic keys! hehe good for somethings, bad for others...
