88GT (stock motor) dont wanna hit 5th in 1/4(what gears do I get)

You can read my sig and tell that my car is damn slow. I am tired of racing hondas just to get a win. I still have the speed density computer so my motor is still stock.

I have no idea what gear ratio my car has right now I am hoping that it has 2.73's.
I heard that 5th gear is really just overdrive and ideally you dont want to hit 5th in the 1/4

I cross the 1/4 mile line @4000 rpm's in 3rd
gear if I shift @ 5200 rpm's.

I like my car but its time for some speed.

The tag on the inside of my door is scratched up but it looks like the axel code is M. I was thinking that I need 4.10's correct me if I am wrong (Thanks in advance)
