The kid was one of two people that survived. |
I think there was one in my town a ew nights ago. People say its copy cats but hey who knows? I think.....it might be terrorists doing little ****......makin every 1 have there attention towards the sniper...and then they take out another plane....
|
It was estimated at 40 yards not 400 on the last one.
I disagree about telling distance from a mushroomed bullet. Unless you know several important factors, powder charge, distance, barrel lenght and what it hit, bone, clothing etc. In the field no way. RBatson... There are two different .223 rounds. One is a .223 Remington (SAAIM) and the other is 5.56 NATO. The Remington was the older issue, NATO new. Both are military issue, your dad is right. I have not heard the police say if it was a .223 NATO round or a Remington .223. There are two .308 rounds too. .308 NATO and .308 Winchester. |
I'm watching a conference on CNN right now and they said the .223 could come from over 40 different guns, they said the gun description they had is not correct, the beige van is not correct, along with the description of the person is not correct. They are not releasing anything right now. But all there previous tips are said to be discounted. Wow they are really being hardasses on releasing information. The press can't get anything out of them, but I do not blame them. The media puts information in people's head, and it's usually incorrect or false information.
Anyone else watch/watching this? §am. |

The eyewitness at Home Depot said the rifle was an AK-74. The model is outdated but also fires a .223 bullet.
I think we've seen the last of the sniper anyways because the press reported about the airborne surveilance the military is going to use. They will never catch him now because he realizes that it's GAME OVER for him. Damn press can't keep their mouths shut!!! |
I don't think he is done... if he wasn't scared before what would make him scared now... obviously he isn't afraid of being caught or he wouldn't be doing this in the first place... what exactly does the plain do to help them catch him?

I think the press is actually kind of smart. Like someone said before.....back a year ago Asoma would watch cnn and know excatly what we were doing. But what if the press says smthing that is ver believable an we do something else...Theycan trick the bad guy in the situation...whatever it may be.

A satellite camera will give a much broader view as to what is going on down below. This guy does not want to be caught, at least not yet that's why he hasn't shot anyone lately. He's either finished or on his way to another area. |
I've been following this too. I find the situation interesting as well. I had to comment after I saw Rev's comment that the media might say video games are to blame. That theory that games cause violence just pisses me off. Something's always to blame for someones actions, nothing is anybody's own fault anymore.
