Default It snowed again! Freaking Minnesota...

Whomever is out there cruising in their mustangs today, consider yourself lucky. I woke up to a bunch of snow, which sucks since I drove my 67 buick this week. I couldnt make it to class, the engine was revving way too high(because of the cold) which made the tires just spin like crazy. Oh well, should melt quick I hope, Minnesota for ya.

I know what you mean. Take a look at the weather radar for the entire state of Michigan; it's a complete shatstorm coming off the lakes right now. I'm over in Grand Rapids right now, but it seems the entire state has had to endure going from 70+ degrees to barely 30 for highs this past week.

EDIT: Woohoo!! 1000 posts!!!!

Yeah, I have to say I hate the upper midwest more and more every winter. Its not supposed to get warm here until mid week i think, probably the same for you I would imagine. Im willing to bet though that the wind/cold coming off the lakes sucks more than the crap we get blowing in from ND/Canada...Congrats on the post, im working my way up there, just broke 600, which kinda surprised me. I need more threads on things I know about....

no snow here, but the temps and wind are making it frigging cold! I am taking advantage of this crappy weather to swap out my heads.

Nice! Wish I had the money to do things to my car...Oh well, getting alot of progress done on my brothers camaro, I just finished putting the interior back together along with his new mega shifter. We also just finished cleaning his engine and putting it back in, which we put new vortec heads on along with a cam and all the other basic performance stuff. He got to spend his tax money on car stuff, I had to spend mine on living when I was laid off

What I wish for down here in Tx. is cold, (40-50 F) and dry air. My car will only run well with cold (50 F or lower) and dry (40 % RH, or lower) air. I know most won't believe it, but it makes a .5 or so in my ET and 2-3 mph at the strip.

Actually, that cold and dry air makes a big difference for every properly tuned engine. Haven't you ever wondered why those North vs. South type drag race events have so many Southern wins? It's not because you know more about cars, I'll tell you that much right now

I wish for the same thing too. It started snowing again today... Should be the last of it though. I'll more than likely be driving my mustang tomorrow though, snow or not!
