I'm not going anywhere.
Hell, my car started misfiring tonight, so I might be spending a lot of time in Windsor Power whether I want to be or not. |

It started vibrating when I get on the gas tonight on the way home from my girlfriends. It vibrated the whole car, not severly, but enough to tell. The exhaust sound was decidely different. I could just tell it wasn't firing on all 8 cylinders.
I am going to look tomorrow and see if one of the plug wires is off. I don't know, but its dark and 35 degrees outside, so I wasn't about to poke around tonight. I just fixed my damn right rear shock tower where the weld broke, so of course its time for something else to go wrong. |
Is it possible that you have water in the gas?

Another old bastard
Well, Christine can be another old bastard in the old bastards club if she wants to, that's for sure, LOL. (we'll make an exception for the young age this time).

The only reason I suggested that is because I had something similiar happen to me in my XR7 and I had water in the tank. I would definitely check all the wires and connections. Did you resently notice a big difference in the temperature? Maybe the computer is adjusting, maybe you could try to reset it. Maybe the fuel pump is starting to die, you still have the stock in there? I'm sure someone will figure it out.

I've been working on keeping my negative comments to myself and just moving on to the next subject... if a member has a problem with another, they should confront the member via PM, not in the thread... I suppose that method might be more effective in eliminating some of the flame wars that seem to perpetuate here. |

I did notice the fuel pump making noise too. Dammit I bet that could very well be the problem. The FP in there is only about a 15 months old too. I think that when the voltage drops on my car, it causes the amps to go up and I believe that causes the pump to overspeed. I sure hope I'm wrong, but that was the other thing on my mind. This is the third fuel pump the car has had since I have owned it. Dammit Dammit Dammit. I don't have another $100 to throw away on that. The cars temperature has been stone steady. Even a little low. With the exception of the thermastat, almost the entire cooling system is under 2 years old. |

MTU, I meant the weather changing.. maybe the computer is adjusting but, from the sounds of it the fp is suspect.
